Letter: Regarding parallels to Nazi Germany

To the Editor:

It’s interesting how some words are reassigned different values and meanings without regard to historical facts.

Nazi actually means National Socialist. (Not National conservative or National Christian.)

The correlation between the rise of the Nazi party and current events is striking, but Nazism certainly was a left-wing organization, a twin of communism with the exception being the Nazi focus on race (Jews).

The rise to power was not through legal means, but through violence both in the streets (brown shirts) and shouting and disruption at political events. (Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA – by any means necessary).

Nazi leader Joseph Goebels is quoted, “If you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it” – Russia, Russia; Trump is racist, Trump is racist – and, “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government (Democratic Party) can play.”

Donald Trump won the election fair and legal, support your president. Our country is worth it.
