WOODSTOCK – A McHenry man is denying allegations that he possessed numerous photos of undressed children.

Timothy A. Clavey, 32, was arraigned Tuesday and pleaded not guilty before Judge Sharon Prather to several charges of possession of child pornography. He could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

Police said Clavey had photographs of numerous undressed children in lewd and provocative poses. Clavey knew the children were minors, police said.

Clavey since has been out of jail custody after posting 10 percent of his $20,000 bond on July 31.

He next will appear in court Oct. 24.
