3. “And then there’s the Boston Fern, which does need more water,” adds Bauer. “They like it warm and humid, so it’s a good one for the bathroom. Keep it evenly moist but not soggy or sitting in water. An east window with morning sun is ideal.”
Houseplants can go outside in summer, and actually thrive there, if kept properly watered. Bauer recommends keeping them in shade, however. “Houseplants will burn in direct sun. Be sure to bring them back inside before night temperatures drop below 60 degrees.
