Visiting more than 300 national parks, Algonquin teen co-authors book, hosts book-signing

Meet young author Aida Frey of Algonquin at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 19 the Huntley Area Public Library where she will discuss her book, "America Can I Have Your Autograph?"[]

HUNTLEY – After visiting more than 300 of the country's national parks, 15-year-old Aida Frey of Algonquin has taken quite the journey exploring caves, entering iconic buildings, climbing mountains and recalling classic stories from old battlefields.

A U.S. National Park Service junior ranger, Frey has worked with author Dana Dorfman to collect those stories into the book "America, Can I Have Your Autograph?" Frey will host an author discussion at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Huntley Area Public Library, 11000 Ruth Road, Huntley.
