Resurfacing work on Oak Grove Road in Harvard to cause daytime lane closures, delays

The McHenry County Division of Transportation began a resurfacing project Wednesday on Oak Grove Road between Routes 14 and 173.

The work is expected to be completed in July. Intermittent daytime lane closures will be necessary to complete the work, according to a news release from the county.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through the area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in work zones, obey posted speed limits and be alert for workers and equipment.

McHenry County Division of Transportation officials apologized for any inconveniences the project causes.
