To the Editor:
We took prayer out of our classrooms.
We took the Ten Commandments off the walls in public places.
We have ripped religious symbols from our communities.
We allow millions of babies to be aborted, even in the third trimester.
We have no respect for law and order, allowing individuals or groups to terrorize citizens, teachers, clergy, and police.
We allow our children to view violent video games and anesthetize them to killing and then call them to supper.
And the local, state, and federal governments wonder why? El Paso, Dayton, Gilroy, Las Vegas, Sutherland Springs, Parkland, Orlando, Sandy Hook, Columbine, and other mass shootings have occurred.
The problem goes beyond guns. We have moved away from God. We reap what we sow.
