8 years 9 months male
Orange Tabby DSH
Ben came to us as a stray with his brother at 4 months old. He has been with us for over 8 years because he is shy. He is a big boy now at 16 pounds with dark orange fur and light green eyes. He is still on the shy side but you can pet him when he is in a bed or cat tower. He is playful and enjoys a game of laser. You can usually find him relaxing in Cat Country and he likes to get brushed by the volunteers. A year ago his brother was adopted. He was also shy but his new guardian was patient and gave him the time he needed to adjust. Now he sleeps with him and really enjoys his new life. Think about giving an older shyer cat like Ben a chance because they can be as loving as any young cat. All they need is a chance. Because Ben is a senior there would be no adoption fee to an approved senior citizen through our Senior to Senior program. June is ADOPT A SHELTER CAT MONTH!! There will be special adoption fees on all cats 6 months and older this month. You can meet Ben at Helping Paws located at 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock, Illinois.
