8 years 7 months old male
He was found with his 3 siblings at 6 weeks old outside without a mother. He was the most shy of the litter so he did not get adopted as a kitten. When he turned a year old he was moved to the adult cat room and it took him time to adjust to the change. Eventually he realized that this was his home and settled in with the other cats. He was adopted as an adult but they returned him after a short time because he was too shy. It seems that people just did not want to give him the time he needed to adjust to living in a home.
He is a handsome 15 pound light brown mackerel tabby with green eyes. You can find him playing when the interactive toys come out, curled up in a bed or getting some alone time in a box. He is friendly with volunteers and visitors to the room. He enjoys getting scratches or pets and will walk over to people to get attention. We think he might do best in a home with no other animals and adopted with one of his friends in the room. He might need many months to adjust to living away from the shelter so you will need to be a person with patience.
There would be no adoption fee to an approved senior citizen through our Senior to Senior program.
