Letter: I'm a proud, 'deplorable' climate-change denier

To the Editor:

Humansplaining – if you are not acquainted with the term, Goggle it.

A Wall Street journal article had a good definition. The Northwest Herald's "Its your write" section is loaded with humansplaining authors who feel the need to explain to us what the news really means, which we are unable to interpret without their help.

That is, they are experts on man-made global warming, now man-made climate change, carbon emissions are now the main cause, a carbon tax will save the world, the role of impeachment, women as government representatives will save the world, President Donald Trump will be in lower half of our 45 presidents, the U.S. is now run by a dictator (cancelled innumerable rules made by dictator Obama), carbon farming and carbon tax will save the world, etc.

Most of this humansplaining seems to be based on the commentaries and articles in the Chicago Tribune and the Northwest Herald. Perhaps these humansplainers, as experts, could be better explainers if they not only told us what they read, but also explained why alternate views expressed in the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and for instance the books by Steve Goreham such as “Outside the Green Box” are not valid.

By reading  and seeing both of the above-mentioned views, I personally have concluded that yes, there may be global warming at the present time, as there have been in the past thousands of years, but it is not primarily due to man.

Rather the hysteria created by Al Gore has created a huge government/industry complex that is promoting man-made global warming to sustain itself, at the expense of all residents of the U.S. If we are convinced that global warming will continue, we should forget all of this carbon stuff nonsense and start building dikes and seawall to protect the land that will be flooded.  I'm a proud deplorable denier.
