The McHenry County Department of Public Health announced 62 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths on Thursday.
The county has seen a total of 2,846 confirmed cases of the virus, 111 related deaths and two probable deaths since the pandemic began.
Residents between 20-29 have the most confirmed cases with 494, followed by 50-59 (478), according to the MCDH's COVID-19 dashboard. McHenry County’s COVID-19 recovery rate currently is at 95%.
On Thursday, the Lake County Health Department reported 122 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for a total of 11,768 cases and 427 deaths.
The Kane County Health Department reported 86 new cases and no additional deaths. Kane has had a total of 9,065 cases and 297 COVID-19-related deaths since the pandemic began.
Among McHenry County ZIP codes, Woodstock (60098) has reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases with a total of 470 confirmed cases.
Woodstock is closely followed by Crystal Lake (60014) with 453 cases, according to the MCDH.

All other McHenry County ZIP codes have reported five cases or fewer, according to the MCDH.
